Hello to those returning to view this blog!!! It’s been a really insightful first month and I feel like I’ve already learned a lot (mainly just…a lot of troubleshooting hehe). I know this may be silly, but thank you for 1000 views! I didn’t think anyone would really take the time to pop in to see what this site has to offer (which isn’t much admittedly, but I hope to change that soon)! So, thank you, seriously :’D
Speaking of site stuff, I’ve made the decision to stop the ACNL blog. I realized really quickly that I really underestimated how much work goes into blogs like that!!! Sadly, I don’t have the time for a time-intensive blog like this along with working on site features I’ve wanted to develop (like the about page, character analyses, and artwork).
And as much as I had fun cataloging the first three weeks of the town, I also realized that the blog focused more on Animal Crossing rather than Ryoma himself. But I decided to dedicate a small portion of these blog posts to talk about any town updates (and share any custom designs I may have made)! For now, I’ll leave the main page up while I try to figure out how I should archive it :P
(Psst, here’s some of the doodles I’ve done for the entry I ended up scrapping)
Anyways, I finally have a permanent place of residence!!! I’ve been moving around every few months for the past year and it’s gotten really tedious to pack up and re-display my collection. I’m just glad this is going to be the last big move for a long while XD
I’ve been torn at how I’d like to display my collection, though… I realized that having a lot of smaller displays of my collection in my space makes me the happiest, however it’s a lot more difficult to hide whenever I have company over (as much as I hate to admit it, I’m a bit self-conscious about my collection lol).
I’ve been wondering if having a designated shelf would be a good idea? Or maybe keeping my collection strictly in my office?? I’m still on the fence and I’m still scrolling through Pinterest to get inspiration lol.
Future posts won’t be focusing on life stuff as much, since I’d much rather focus on Ryoma, but this month I’ve been a bit scatter-brained when it came to my projects hehe…Though I actually have a list of topics I want to focus on in the future:
Yes, these do sound like the ramblings of a mad man, but I’m happy to be mad, man! If any of these ideas interest you or if you have a topic that you’re interested in hearing about feel free to sign my guestbook and let me know!
In the meantime, I’m still going to be working on my main character analysis for the about page. I want to make sure that it’s polished as much as possible before I publish it (also because I may or may not be replaying V3 to make sure I get everything right…). So, stay tuned!
Thank you again for reading through this silly little blog post. I’ll see you next time!
