Ryoma is the shortest human character in the Danganronpa franchise!
It is also implied through his design (note the intentional disporportion with his legs and arms compared to his torso) that he has a type of dwarfism!
Ryoma is the only character to be correct in a rebuttal showdown segment! However, he wasn't proven right until the Chapter 6 trial.
His character is based on the lead character of the Manga/Anime series 'The Prince of Tennis', Ryoma Echizen!
Ryoma does not have eyebrows (yet)!
According to Ryoma's splash art, he is either left-handed or ambidexterous due to him holding his racket with his left hand!
Ryoma has the most beta designs out of the entire NDRV3 cast with NINE total designs before the final pass (goes to show that perfection takes trial and error XD)
SPEAKING of beta designs, it seems that his final design was pulled from a few beta designs, but from completely separate characetrs! For example, two of Nekomaru's beta designs have an identical face shape, eye shape, and mouth shape! Teruteu and Fuyuhiko also had beta designs that were slightly similar to Ryoma's final design, but with a slightly different set of facial features. However, the closest beta design to Ryoma's final design would actually come from K1-B0, with a completely identical set of facial features! I wonder how long the Danganronpa character designers were sitting on these traits? So cool!
The logo for Ryoma's previous shcool, Fog Heights High School, is nowhere to be seen on his actual design! It is only featured in his key character sheet as a pin on the right lapel of his jacket, though this detail was not shown in any of the CGs, sprites, or any other game assets (to my knowledge).
